A natural solid shampoo bar that is kind to the environment and your hair!
I have specially formulated these pH balanced bars with ingredients which clean the hair, keeping it strong and healthy. Importantly, they do not strip the natural oils or leave the cuticles open and prone to damage. I make these luscious bars in small batches with ingredients derived mainly from coconut and rapeseed, along with moisturising Organic Cocoa butter/Coconut oil, so the bar will clean your hair, leaving it soft and silky.
PINK GRAPEFRUIT for frequently washed and greasy hair. Great for greasy hair, that requires frequent washing. It contains an even more gentle combination of coconut based cleansers, for zesty clean, shiny hair.
COCOA ORANGE for dry, bleached or coloured hair requiring a bit more conditioning care. Handmade with nourishing Raw Organic Cocoa butter. Scented with Sweet Orange essential oil.
NEEM & ROSEMARY for normal hair and hair strength, including any scalp irritation. This bar encorporates Neem seed oil - a South Asian remedy for skin conditions. Scent comes from Rosemary essential oil to add shine.
SALTY LIME for frequently washed fine hair requiring a bit of added volume. This bar contains salt which adds volume and bounce while detoxifying the scalp. But not just any salt: it's Pink Himalayan salt which contains tons of minerals and none of the drying element of table salt. Lime essential oil gives this a fresh fragrance.
Directions for use: Simply lather between hands or directly on to wet hair, work it through all part of your scalp and hair and then rinse off. If you like that squeaky clean feeling, you may like to repeat. Use conditioner if you want - I make matching Solid Conditioner Bars to help with detangling and keep hair soft & smooth.
Care of bar: This bar will last a long time if you look after it - dry the bar out between use, by placing it on a loofah, wire rack or elevated soap dish, or have 2 bars on the go, and alternate so each one dries out between use.

A bit of science ... pH is important!
Hair is mostly dead and cannot recover if the cuticles are raised/opened by using shampoo at the wrong pH. Using a shampoo with a pH of above 5.5 leads to frizzing, cuticle damage and fiber breakage. I took so much care to formulate these shampoo bars to achieve a pH of between 4.5 and 5.5, which keeps cuticles closed, hair smoothed and colour retained.

They also contain no harsh cleansers such as SLS or SLSa, which you will find in many cheap bars, and are more suited to dishes than hair!
