The Herbalists Without Borders Bristol 2026 fundraising calendar takes you on a year long journey through the medicinal properties and uses of mushrooms found in the UK. It contains 32 pages of gorgeous original artwork, easy-to-make recipes and information from some of the UK's top herbalists, mycologists, artists and foragers. Contributors to the calendar include the Seed Sistas, Bristol Fungarium, Mo Wilde, and Rosanna Morris.
ALL profits from the sale of these calendars here will be passed on to Herbalists Without Borders Bristol (HWBB) is a local independent and volunteer-led group set up in 2016, making herbal medicines for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in the city. Passionate about plant medicine and social justice, our group includes herbalists, plant enthusiasts and community activists. HWBB is part of a broader resistance to this 'hostile environment' and we want to contribute to the dismantling of borders within healthcare. We believe that health is a right and not a privilege. The mission of the HWBB project is to provide FREE herbal healthcare to people fleeing conflict, persecution and intolerable living conditions.
Plants have always paid little heed to human imposed borders; responding to external conditions, seeds spread to new lands and make home for themselves where the environment will sustain them. HWBB is one answer to the question of how to respond to the pressures that migration places upon people when they have to uproot and start again.
The calendar measures 30 x 30cm and is approximately 290g in weight.
